All of these services are for adults on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Designed to include participants more fully in their communities and daily lives, the following are some of the services offered:
♦ Community Inclusion: focusing on helping clients learn, retain, and improve communication, socialization, self-help, and adaptive skills required for community living.
♦ Respite: planned or emergency short-term relief provided to the client’s unpaid caregiver(s) when the caregiver is temporarily unavailable.
♦ Temporary Crisis Services: additional staff provided during time of crisis for short-term periods.
♦ Supported Employment: on-going assistance available in developing necessary skills for employment within the community.
♦ Behavioral Specialist: individuals demonstrating behavioral challenges due to limited social skills, limited communication skills, or impaired sensory systems are offered specialized support.
♦ Family Training: assisting client’s family members with communication skills,stress reduction, self-direction, daily living skills, and environmental adaption.
